Yes, in horse racing, the dark horse is the least likely to win, but they come out of nowhere to bolt past the favorites to win the race. This concept led to a project at the Harvard Graduate School of Education by thought leader, Todd Rose, and neuroscientist, Ogi Ogas. They studied women and men who emerged on the scene from an unknown status to prominence in various fields. What is interesting is these humans were disadvantaged and had to follow a non-traditional path of their own making that capitalized on their unique individuality and worked around their limitations.

What I found most incredible is the hidden social conditioning that sets up the illusion that we are part of a system where everyone has the same chance to compete and climb the ladder. The system, born out of the industrial revolution, seeks to reduce variations in input and output. This system, by design, reduces the variables of individuality because the assumption is standardization and sameness offer greater efficiencies.

Our social institutions established rules where only a few can rise to the top and then everyone else fights for the leftover resources giving rise to the hierarchies that tend to have bias and inequities built into their design. This is what Rose and Ogas called the standardization covenant where individuality is considered a problem and standardization is the solution. This belief is because they applied the same rules for production lines to humans. Thus reducing the human to an object, a resource, a tool for commerce. How can this be aligned with our divine design when each human is, in fact, unique and created that way on purpose?

With AI emerging, we are now being told the human will be made obsolete with nothing to contribute. This is an anti-human philosophy that goes directly against the idea that we are, in fact, created in the image and likeness of the Infinite. It denies the fact each human is unique with vast potential that can be explored and cultivated. AI is a man-made technology. Humans are a divinely made technology. We are awesomely and magnifically made, it's time to act like it. Our goal is that we use man-made technology responsibly, ethically, and safely. But our primary objective as individuals and as a species is to use cultivate our human potential and use it for good.

The real answer is ... reprogramming the mind is not a one and done. It's like growing a garden. There will always be weeds cropping up and work to be done to keep the garden healthy. We focus on foundational shifts that most humans need to live an empowered life. By focusing on specific clusters of limiting beliefs and faulty coping strategies, clients can begin to make real changes in a relatively short amount of time. Many times replacing one core negative belief or coping strategy with its positive equivalent will create an avalanche of transformation. We use projects as a container for creating one specific goal that naturally requires both personal and spiritual growth to achieve it. 3, 6, 12-month projects are typical.
